i love your site and feel strong about your cause. i was wondering if anyone can give me tips on my hearing tomorrow. what are some common things that can get your ticket thrown out. my ticket was in downtown orlando and westmorland/smith. i was going under the light when it turned red.

Anyone have any advice?

The sad facts to these kangaroo hearings are most people do not get off. They ticket the car owner and not the driver. The only one that I saw claimed that there was a homeless man
approaching the car and his wife felt threatened. My defense was "who was driving the car" any they said it does not matter it was you car. By the way they do not classify it as a moving violation. There for no point on you insurance. If you don't pay the fine. No loss of license. I choose not to pay the fine.
My hearing was 14 months age. All I got was a couple of bill collectors trying to make me pay. Before a week ago the camera's were illegal.Still there is nothing they can do if you not pay the fine. I heard yesterday about 30% of the people do not pay the fine.

Come to Apopka Saturday and protest with use. The core group consists of a lawyer, President of the Florida Civil Rights Association. A couple of people who have been activist for year with much more knowledge than I.

Totally different story in AZ.
If you don't pay large fine and go to driving class they revoke your license.
