It is not only ATS RLC RIPP OFF motorists have to worry about. Now it is toll OVER charging too (by use of "fees").
American Traffic Solutions TOTAL RIP OFF COMPANY AFFILIATED WITH HERTZ RENTAL CAR VERY DECEPTIVE Scottsdale, Arizona
I rented a car from Hertz on a Thursday evening, and left on my trip Friday morning. Before getting out of the city area, I had to utilize state highways which does not have toll booth attendants, the state bill you by plate. During my travels outside city limits I passed through several toll booths inwhich I paid for ALL of my toll charges. One week later I returned from my trip and returned the vehicle. Two weeks after returning I notice on my account a charge of $16.05 from a company called American Traffic, Scottsdale, Arizona I called Hertz Rental Car Company to dispute this transaction, and was directed to an agent at the American Traffic Solutions Company. She and I discussed what had transpired she advised me of the date of the toll charges, which was the morning I left for my trip. It was for utilizing (2) highways which there are NO toll booth workers and they bill you to the plate for the cost of .75 cents each passing. I ask her why would you charge me $16.05 and she said it was for ADMINISTRATIVE FEE'S which are $2.95 each charge PLUS ADDITIONAL FEE'S FOR HANDLING THE TRANSACTION...How OUTRAGEOUS is that, a mere $1.50 TOTAL TOLL CHARGE is what I was SUPPOSE to be billed for, and Hertz uses this company and does not object to this type of ABUSE ON IT'S CUSTOMERS it pisses me off. I have been loyal to this rental car company for over 20 plus years and NEVER have been as upset with them as I am now. This American Traffic Solutions company is RIPPING PEOPLE OFF this is not fair to consumers. After talking with the rep. and seeing I wasn't getting anywhere I ended the call and immediately contacted my bank to dispute the charges and cancelled/replaced my card. I REFUSE TO BE ROBBED AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY THESE DECEITFUL CROOKS...
