There has been much growing concern over the secondary check procedure.

On the RMB Consultancy (Richard Bentley) website http://web.mac.com/rmbscarb/iWeb/rmbconsulting/Home.html (half way down the page) it states :

RMB Consulting wrote:

RMB Consulting has concerns that mandatory checks are not being undertaking to safeguard motorists from flawed prosecutions and that breaches of the mandatory protocols are becoming the accepted norm.

And here is the link http://web.mac.com/rmbscarb/iWeb/rmbconsulting/NOTTINGHAM%20lack%20of%20secondary%20checks.html to RMB Secondary Check :

RMB Consultancy website - Code of Practice wrote:

Code of practice for operational use of enforcement equipment

16.1 The Secondary Check

When viewing any film, or any other means of image recording, exposed or collected in an automatic device, the images in respect of offences will be scrutinized using the approved secondary check procedure to verify the continuing accuracy of the device.
The secondary check method adopted will be in accordance with the Home Office Type Approval and manufactures instructions.

Proving that this happens is the information provided with a case by Mr Buck who was accused of speeding twice when in fact his car was parked. An apology followed from Nottingham Police for their errors and in doing so proved it's occurrence.

If the system is not beyond reproach then it must have to answer to someone. We must all demand a fair and justice system and nothing less is acceptable.

The ongoing recognition of injustices on the citizens of this Country is totally unacceptable as it causes misery and despair, which results in a serious disrespect of the Law
