Speed SCAMERA for "$afety", more like money.  Local Government in Iowa wants to line pockets with money with REDFLEX on I-29!

I looks like Redflex has found a new home for some of its portable SCAMERAS kicked off of AZ Interstates!

But I did enjoy this comment by a local:  "But this is purely just a money grab since exceeding the authorized speed limit was listed as the major cause of less than 0.74% of accidents in the I-29 corridor through Sioux City from 2000 to 2009. And only one of those crashes was more severe than minor.

Speed enforcement should be left to an officer on the scene."

Quite correct.  Officers should be pulling people over who act dangerously, not using them as an excuse to site every techincal foul out there!  (and don't think they will leave that trigger speed high either.  In places like AU they were trying to do 2.5 mph tickets (4 km/h).

As has been stated in the past these scameras cause more problems than they solve!
