Local businesses support ban on speed cameras

HAMILTON — Fifteen local businesses will act as signature collection locations to help the efforts of Jim Berns, former 1st Congressional District candidate, to place an amendment on the November’s ballot banning automatic ticket-writing devices.

Petitions, Berns said, will be available at the following businesses: Collins Refrigeration Heating and Air-conditioning, Star Dry Cleaners, J&J Tires, Premiere Auto Mart, Burlews Carpet Cleaners, Gray Florist, Paul’s Auto Sales, About Space, Marcell’s Towing, First Choice Furniture, Classic Iron Motorcycle Accessories, Karz Automotive, Lovelace Auto, Ole Canal Antiques and C&J Roofing.
