On Monday, officials for the General Directorate of Traffic in Saudi Arabia took down an online poll seeking the view of residents on the "Saher" speed camera system. With 152,000 responses recorded, the government became embarrassed that 75 percent opposed the use of automated ticketing machines, compared to just 24 percent who supported it.
