France, Italy: Speed Cameras Painted, Burned
Vigilantes burn a speed camera in Italy and spraypaint another in France.

A speed camera control box was set on fire in San Vito, Italy last week Saturday at around 10:30pm. The vigilantes responsible had cut a cable and pulled it out of the box. Vigilantes in the Pyrenees-Atlantiques department in south-western France disabled a speed camera with paint last week Sunday, La Republique des Pyrenees reported. http://www.larepubliquedespyrenees.fr/2011/05/03/le-radar-d-aussevielle-vandalise,192528.php  The automated ticketing machine on the 817 in Aussevielle was spraypainted white and green. When the camera was first installed in 2005, it was blasted by a shotgun. The next year, it was set on fire and then shot. Since then it has had its lens smashed or painted or burned on several occasions.
