WRECKED: CARS SMASHED AT RED LIGHT CAMERA INTERSECTION

All around the great state of Louisiana, traffic cameras are appearing at intersections. The cameras bring in cash for the city coffers, and have led some to believe that the cameras are just a money-making scam.

Do they make the streets any safer?

Many have raised doubts, and now THE DEAD PELICAN is learning that they actually may cause more accidents!

The photo above shows yet another accident at a 'photo enforcement' intersection at South College and Johnston street in Lafayette!

The pic reveals a smashed car, and a photo-enforcement camera looming in the distant background.
