Today the Dragon wins, But now it is time for the Knights to mobilize!

Today the Dragon wins, But now it is time for the Knights to mobilize!

Today in Tallahassee, Floridians were sold out to the camera lobby, yes sold out is exactly what our legislators did.  (We will have a list of Patriots and Benedict Arnolds later this week). An ole adage is appropriate today:  No matter how right your, no matter how just your cause, sometimes the dragon wins.

But it won't long term if us Knights mobilize!  Regardless, we at Ban the Cams Stand Ready to Fight the camera scourge.

We join other groups fighting photo enforcement in multiple states.

States like Arizona, Illinois, Maryland, Ohio, Texas, Washington State, where the state authorized photo enforcement, but the residents like your self are becoming more determined than ever to DEMAND A VOTE!

Arizona home of a state wide petition drive to BAN RLC and Speed Cameras.  http://caemrafraud.com

Illinois, multiple protests resulted in the state having to consider ban bills this year.  Despite failing, the protest and discontent continue.  http://www.facebook.com/BanRedCams (so will the protest no doubt).

Maryland, Sykesville where 1 out of every 4 voters has signed the petition drive to ban photo enforcement.  http://www.stopbigbrothermd.org/2010/03/sykesville-residents-demand-referendum.html

Ohio, 3 petitions drives to BAN RLC in Toledo, Cleveland and Garfield Heights http://www.gocoast.org/    (a new one might happen in Hamilton County soon).   2 Towns banned photo enforcement last Novemeber!

Texas, home to 3 petition drives to Ban RLC.  Baytown http://www.saferbaytown.com/ , Port Lavaca http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=352118962300  and Houston  http://www.nocamerashouston.com/ .

Washington State where protesters staged FIVE different protests in ONE day and are now working on a petition drive city by city to ban photo enforcement.  http://www.banthecams.org/20100426161/5-RLC-PROTEST-IN-WASHINGTON-STATE-on-4/24/2010-INITIATIVE-PLANNED-TO-LET-THE-VOTERS-DECIDE.html

So is the battle over,  NOT BY A LONG SHOT!

If you don't like photo enforcement, don't get sad,  GET DETERMINED.  Organize protest in your communities.

OUR MOTTO IS:  WE DEMAND THE PUBLIC HAVE A VOTE ON PHOTO ENFORCEMENT!

WE are looking forward to announcing our next protest in May.
Stay tuned.
(And if you are planning protest, LET US KNOW.  We will be happy to spread the news!)

Tell Govenor Crist to VETO the scamera bill!
written by Michael Williams , April 27, 2010

Scamera Bill H325 has passed the house and senate and is on the governors desk! You need email him and tell him to veto this bill to prevent these cameras from becoming law! Do it now! If we do nothing, we have no one to blame but ourselves. Ignorance is not bliss and silence is consent!

In the words of Ben Franklin: “Anyone who trades liberty for security deserves neither liberty nor security”

Governor Charlie Crist,

Here is a list of all the scamera officials that voted them in too. Lets vote them out too.

Remember in November!
