Mayor Elect Buckhorn wants to fill budget gaps with RLC at Busy intersections!

Just tonight I came across this article on RLC (link below if you care to read it).

It was very clear from the article why Buckhorn and Tampa really want the RLC.  MONEY!  NOT SAFETY!

It should be noted that in a BAN the CAMS review of Fatal RLV crashes in the Tampa Bay area, a RLC WOULD BE USELESS AT the vast majority of those crashes.

It also should be noted that they are using a "cost neutral" contract THAT HAS BEEN FOUND TO BE ILLEGAL IN NUMEROUS CA TOWNS as a PER TICKET FEE IN DISGUISE.

Locations they plan:

Fowler and Nebraska Avenues (ENTRANCE TO THE USF AND UNIVERSITY MALL AREA), Columbus and Dale Mabry Highway (RIGHT NEXT TO TAMPA STADIUM) as well as several locations along Hillsborough Avenue.

I wonder how much ATS (and their vendors) donated to Buckhorns campaign.  Wouldn't that be interesting to find out.  A good starting point is just to see who paid the fake front group in Houston TX.  

Any Tampa residents wishing to express their displesure of the scam the meeting is:  The council meets at 9 a.m. in old City Hall on 315 E. Kennedy Blvd. in downtown.  Don't you just like the "notice" they give eh!  Not even 24 hours!
