It’s a real head scratcher–a mystery that can only happen in the Windy City.

A Chicago man’s car was impounded by the city due to an overabundance of parking ticket.

But even though the car was allegedly safe and sound locked up behind the barb wired topped fences of a city auto pound located at 103rd & Doty, the car owner just received a red light camera ticket from Willowbrook, where the car and license plate appear in a video according to CBS 2 Chicago.  http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2011/09/03/supposedly-impounded-and-destroyed-car-surfaces-to-get-ticket/

After receiving the RLC ticket in the mail, the vehicle owner went down to the auto pound where he was told his late model Chevy Malibu was scrapped.

Streets and Sanitation says this incident will be investigated.
