Note These intersection were PICKED by the "consultant" no doubt for profitablity.

From trying to get shoppers at the mall, to hospital patrons at Bayfront Medical Center.

In fact on two of the intersections, THEY COULDN'T install RLC due to lack of a site, so GUESS WHAT THEY DID????

THEY LENGTHEND THE YELLOW!

Quote:  "Eighth Street and Fourth Avenue N as the second most dangerous intersection, but that was cured by changing the timing of yellow light signals"

They did the same thing at MLK Street at Eighth Street.

HOW ABOUT LENGTHENING THE YELLOW AT ALL THE SITES!

But of course with what just happened in Arnold, we know the answer to that.  NO MONEY IN PROPER ENGINEERING!  http://www.kplr11.com/news/ktvi-red-light-camera-killer-062311,0,3827593.story

Total SCAM!
