You know the camera crowd can keep saying "its about safety" claim all they like. The reality is PHOTO ENFORCEMENT IS ABOUT MONEY!  When you don't get enough violations, THE VENDORS OR CITIES PULL THE CAMERAS OUT.

Though this article tries to say accidents have been cut in "half" it is important to note that when the press have gone into the accident reports they have found other cities omitting data like LAPD!  I do wonder what the CITY IS NOT TELLING THE PUBLIC????? 

1.  are certain accidents ommitted.

2.  are the miles traveled down in the city, are more people avoiding the camera intersections???

Long term reports like the 57 month one out of Greensboro NC for example, ARE NOT SHOWING RLC IMPROVE SAFETY!

CLEVELAND (WRCB)-- After today, there will be no traffic cameras operating in Cleveland.

City leaders received a letter in February for the company that operated the cameras.

The cameras were effective.

Over two years, accidents at some of the city's busiest intersections were cut in half.

The company told city leaders the cameras were no longer profitable enough to pay for the service.

The Cleveland city council voted not to look for another company.
