I left at 11:40. That lawyer for the red light companies was just starting to show his stupidity to the point it was embarrassing. I doubt they actually voted on anything after that.

BROOKSVILLE - City council members showed renewed interest in red light cameras and fire fees as ways to alleviate budget woes for next year with plans to bring both matters for discussion at future meetings.

During Tuesday's budget workshop, three out of four council members expressed interest in reinstalling the cameras at five intersections to record and ticket traffic violators.

All five council members also directed staff to negotiate with an outside company to research implementing fire service fees as a method to partially pay for fire department costs rather than fully finance it from the general fund.

Council will bring the matter back before council during the March 7 meeting.
