13. H.B. 4087. Repeal of Red Light Cameras. This legislation would have repealed authorize to use traffic infraction detectors, commonly referred to as “red light cameras,” to enforce traffic safety laws. The ACU op¬poses government intrusion on personal liberty. The measure did not come before the full Senate for a vote, but passed by a 59-57 vote in the Florida House on 5/2/11.
