Baytown Camera Front Group IS DESPERATE TO DENY A VOTE!
In reading the Baytown Sun Article on the legal battles by the Camera Front Group attorneys and their cohorts TO PREVENT A VOTE. Items of interest:
1. The front group is funded by two out of town firms:
Quote: "The contributions were from two corporations—Forcecon Services LLC in Keller, Texas ($8,000) and Signal Electric Inc. in Kent, Washington ($12,000). Websites of both companies indicate their businesses include the installation of traffic signal equipment."
(Though ATS has not "donated" to this, there is no doubt a financial connection in many peoples mind with the two doners and ATS given the fact that Signal Electric and Forceon Services gave $8,000.00 and $5,000.00 (along with ATS giving $20,000) to the College Station PAC to save the SCAMERAS.) http://www.saferbaytown.com/documents.html (TX Documents on College Station PAC). More on the front group: http://www.thenewspaper.com/news/31/3118.asp
(Also, Their money is for the usual (I bet it is POS) polls too! You know the ones that said most people "support" photo enforcement. IF they do, than why do ATS and their cohorts FIGHT THESE PUBLIC VOTES SO MUCH????? HMMMMMMMM????????)
2. The front group is doing everything it can to deny a vote. Front group has hired a handwriting expert. They are alleging perjury and even that the petition TO ALLOW THE PUBLIC TO VOTE is illegal. They are asking 151st District Court of Houston to drag in Byron Schirmbeck, the anti camera petitioner.
In firing back against the camera cohorts: "attorney Randall Kallinen, who is representing Schirmbeck, sent a letter to the district attorney’s office asking it to investigate if the efforts of the election opponents constitute a violation of the Voting Rights Act."
Ban the cams says: LET THE PEOPLE VOTE!
